Caty Schultz, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Caty graduated from Plymouth State University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with degrees in both Kinesiology and Spanish. Her enthusiasm for learning about the human body through movement and language came together in her doctoral capstone project which researched the importance of overcoming language barriers in order to achieve the best possible patient outcomes in physical therapy.
Caty spent her athletic career playing competitive soccer, track, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and keeping active through resistance training and running. As a result, she has a strong interest in working with high school and college athletes as well as weekend warriors. Her clinical background highlights this work with athletes of all ages presenting with a variety of acute orthopedic injuries and post-surgical impairments. In addition to her orthopedic and performance PT experience, she has a unique patient perspective as she underwent invasive hip surgery to continue her active lifestyle. Caty underwent over a year of rehab, after which she was able to return to training and playing competitive ultimate frisbee.
At Cioffredi & Associates in Lebanon, Caty uses her experience as both patient and therapist to connect with and motivate her clients forward. She believes a strong partnership built on a foundation of positivity, enthusiasm and support is critical to achieving the best results. Her approach tailors each of her treatment sessions to her patient’s goals under the mentality that movement is the necessary factor to optimize the patient’s outcomes and return to their sport.
Outside of the clinic she spends her time with her husband and two dogs, hiking in the mountains, playing disc golf, cheering on the Packers, and traveling.
