“So Happy to Have My Life Back”
Amy Redpath’s Journey Through Frozen Shoulder
When Amy Redpath walked into Cioffredi & Associates, she was no stranger to the pain…
“This was my second stint with frozen shoulder,” she explains. “This time it was in the right arm — my dominant arm — and it was so painful and limiting. I was having a hard time sleeping, moving, doing daily tasks, and was miserable.”
Frozen shoulder, can be an incredibly frustrating condition with a long, often stubborn recovery process. And for Amy, experiencing it a second time in just two years only compounded the challenge.

But she wasn’t facing it alone…
“Marsha is the BEST!” says Amy, describing her time working with Physical Therapist Marsha Wykes. “So smart, supportive, calm, and fun — and easy to be with. It was a joy to work with her. Her commitment to my improvement showed every time we met — and it worked like a charm!”
That combination of expert care and personal connection made a real difference in Amy’s recovery.
“Admittedly, I had a hard time keeping up with the exercises at home, but Marsha stayed on me.” Patience, she says, was the hardest part — especially given the frustrating nature of the condition. “It wasn’t an injury, it just showed up. That made it harder to accept. I felt frustrated — especially because it was the second time it happened.” Still, Amy found strength in the support she received. From the treatment room to the front desk, she felt cared for and encouraged. “The front desk staff is so terrific — great communication and efficiency. The whole experience was a pleasure!”
