Workplace Wellness in the Upper Valley

For more than three decades, Cioffredi & Associates has provided occupational health services to prominent companies throughout our community.

Our success has been built on two fundamental principles:

  1. Early detection with immediate intervention
  2. Selective preventive screening

Early Detection and Immediate Intervention

Working on-site allows for the early detection of symptoms and potential problems, as well as the immediate initiation of appropriate intervention and education. Small issues can be addressed before they escalate and require more substantial—and potentially costly—intervention.

On-site services also allow our staff to fully understand the physical demands an individual must be able to meet before returning to full duty. Without this understanding, clinical interventions may fall short of adequately preparing an employee to return to work.

For injuries or conditions that require formal rehabilitation, we are committed to providing immediate access to care and avoiding delays in effective treatment. This helps optimize the opportunity for the fastest possible recovery.

Ergonomic Assessments

Although an ergonomic assessment may not be necessary for every employee, it can be especially helpful for those with a history of pain or a recurring musculoskeletal condition. An ergonomic screening can identify potential concerns and provide practical recommendations to improve comfort and reduce physical strain.

Post-Offer Pre-Employment Screenings (POPES)

Pre-employment fitness tests assist companies in determining whether a prospective employee has the physical capacity to complete the specific job tasks they would be hired to perform. During these screenings, the prospective employee performs simulated job tasks that are observed and scored by a physical therapist.

Our Approach to the Injured Worker

Evidence clearly shows that the longer someone is out of work, the less likely they are to successfully return to their job. This understanding is the foundation of our commitment to providing injured workers with immediate access to our expertise.

Our team is highly experienced in helping organizations develop an appropriate, safe, and gradual transition back to work for injured employees.

“The implementation of our on-site therapy program has proven to be a successful partnership with Cioffredi & Associates. We are extremely pleased with the relationship and the meaningful impact it brings to our employees. This pro-active approach has also significantly reduced our workers’ compensation recordable claims. The Cioffredi & Associates on-site program would be a benefit to any company willing to take a pro-active approach to preventing and addressing injuries. Healthy and positive employees are contagious!”
