Shanna Duffy, PT Distinguished As Leading Pelvic Health Clinician with Advanced Certification

Pelvic pain, incontinence, and dysfunction is not often talked about, but actually quite common. Pelvic floor physical therapy is recommended as a first-line, low-risk, minimally invasive treatment option.
Congratulations to Shanna Duffy, PT for acquiring her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC)!
The PRPC is one of the two advanced pelvic health board certifications recognized in the pelvic health rehabilitation community. It represents extensive training, knowledge, and expertise in treating pelvic pain and dysfunction in both men and women. With applicants having to complete 2000 hours of direct pelvic patient care and pass a rigorous exam, it is the equivalent board certification to the what many of our Orthopedic PTs achieve with their OCS. In total, there are less than 1000 practitioners in the US and only 10 in NH/VT who hold this level of Pelvic Rehabilitation Board Certification.
“Treatment with Dr. Shanna was life-changing.”
Shanna adds this new advanced specialty certification to her already impressive resume. Notably, she is also one of only 83 physical therapists in the US. to hold Board Certification in Biofeedback to treat Pelvic Muscle Dysfunction. Shanna’s achievements highlights the strength of Cioffredi & Associates Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy program and represents our group’s commitment to excellence.
